We want to help our peers have fun and be active. There is an 18 and under automatic student discount to make the race more affordable for runners. Any race for those 4-18 is only $25 Online Registration or $30 In-Person .

Online Registration will close on Wednesday, August 3rd at noon. Packet Pickup and In-Person registration will be on Friday, August 5th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  and Saturday, August 5th at 6:30 a.m. at the Wurster Park Gazebo- 215 W Main St, Manchester, MI 48158. In-Person Registration is an additional $5 fee. 

We will continue to hold our race in our quaint small town and on the beautiful back country roads that surround it! This year will be even better than 2021 with some minor modifications!

While we will have hydration stations, we encourage runners to bring their own water and/or electrolyte drink to help reduce our carbon footprint. This route is paved road and sidewalks for the 5k. The 10k, 10-miler and half marathon route also includes dirt roads.  

We will continue with the tradition of a free kids fun run mile with a medal to all who participate! The kids free mile is at 9:45 registration encouraged, but not required.

By signing up and being a part of Run Manchester you are helping to continue the growth of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) programs in Manchester Community Schools. Run Manchester 2022 is a collaborative effort of the FIRST robotics teams of Manchester. This event is a way to grow in body and mind while raising funds for our teams sustainability. It is also an opportunity for our youth to learn valuable project planning and business skills. We are striving to make 2022 the best race yet.

Day of Run registration will be charged an additional $5 entry fee.

High-quality shirts and custom medals that are truly medal rack worthy are guaranteed to racers who sign up by July 24th. We will do our best to provide these to runners who sign up later, but there is no guarantee.

Can I Get A Refund?

Per our registration policy, we do not issue refunds under any circumstances. This is a student group fundraiser and all funds received will directly benefit the students. 

Can I Transfer My Registration To Another Participant?

No.

Do You Run In Inclement Weather?

Absolutely! We run our race rain or shine! There are no standing scheduled “rain dates”. Events are held rain, shine or snow. In the case of significantly inclement weather (i.e. lightning in the area), we reserve the right to alter components of the event or course to address safety concerns, or potentially delay, postpone or cancel the event. In addition, it is possible that while we desire not to cancel the event, our facility and/or municipalities may force the cancellation of the event.

In such situations, there will be NO REFUNDS of entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee. Monies collected have already been used to develop and produce the event. We promise to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event. Any decision made to go forth with the event is contingent on the overall event and course safety and is made in collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate.
