Join us for the 10th Annual Howloween 5K and Dog Walk on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at Parkside Place Park in North Wales, PA. This event consists of a 5K run/walk, and a 1-mile dog walk....PLUS, to celebrate our 10th Howloween, we are bringing back our wildly-popular Fall Fair! There will also be dozens of incredible raffle baskets, costume contests, a dog agility course, food trucks, and doggie "puppuccinos"!  Four-legged friends are welcome to attend all activities, making this event unlike any other in the area!  And of course because this is a "Howloween" event, participants are encouraged to come in costume!

Have you adopted a dog from Home at Last? Mail us a photo to be displayed at next year's event honoring all of the lives we've saved. Print a photo and mail to Shari McGrath, 2107 Grandy Court, Macungie, PA 18062. *Note: photos will not be returned.

All proceeds from the 5K and Dog Walk will benefit Home at Last Dog Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. HAL is a 100% volunteer organization whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters and puppy mills, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue...every dog is in a foster home until they are adopted. With our tireless and passionate work, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of such dogs. After the dogs have been observed in foster homes, our devoted volunteers strive to match each dog with the perfect forever home.  100% of adoption fees then go back into the rescue to cover shelter pull fees, vet care, supplies, and various other expenses.  We hope you'll join us for a day of spirited fun and generosity for our furry friends!
