Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk

The tradition continues! Celebrate Thanksgiving Day with family and friends while getting a workout.

Date: Nov. 28, 2024
Time: 8-8:15 a.m., (waves based on pace) 
Location: Start and Finish at Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. Note: some mapping applications may route users to a different location. Please be sure to check the address and name of location to ensure you arrive to the correct event location. 
Standard 5K Cost: $34 (plus registration fee)
Register early, price increases $5 on Nov. 14. Event-day registration is available for an additional $5 per person if space remains.

Part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, the family-friendly Turkey Day 5K is a laid-back trot that starts and finishes at the Parker Recreation Center. Registrants receive a commemorative knit beanie, souvenir race bib and hot cocoa, cider or coffee. This event is not officially timed. Strollers are welcome but because of the size of the event and for safety reasons, please leave dogs, bikes and scooters at home. 

This event is held rain, snow or shine; Refunds will NOT be issued. Any proceeds from the event will benefit the Town of Parker Scholarship Program, which helps Parker families and/or individuals with limited financial resources participate in Town Recreation programs and facilities. 

Packet Pickup:  Nov. 25-27 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at RNK Running and Walking, 13019 Parker Road in Parker. On event day, pick up will begin at 7 a.m. at Parker Recreation Center
