Participants can use the RaceJoy application to learn about the city's history along the route. This year we have two special events.1) For members of the Pacific Northwest Association of USA Track & Field, the 5K serves as the USATF PNW Association 5K Road Championship. Though USATF membership is NOT required to run the Harvest Classic, USATF PNW Association members can compete for prize money.
2) We have a guest runner, Aaron Burros, author of Medal Monday: My Quest to Run 50 Marathons in 50 States in 50 Weeks After Being Shot 5 Times. Mr. Burros will be a guest speaker and sign his book on Friday evening, 10/04/24, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Lower Columbia College in Room #102 of the Physical Science Building. His presentation is free. Learn how he uses running to help himself survive the constant physical pain and emotional scars from being a victim of a violent crime, and how he encourages and uplifts others as a Running Servant of the Lord.

Take the chips home with you - you will not be asked to return the chips. Wear your bib on the upper chest to maximize the chip reads.
Weather is usually mild. Race time temperatures are likely to range from the low 40s to mid 50s.
