Join us, Bethel Church of God in Christ, for the Run for Life 5k and kid fun run on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Forsythe Park in Monroe, Louisiana. The race kicks off at 8 A.M., with all proceeds directly benefiting our community outreach and mission programs, Progressive Community Economic Development Corporation. 

We are a dynamic and compassionate faith-based organization committed to fostering positive transformations within communities. Rooted in a strong foundation of faith and community service. Our organization is dedicated to addressing the multifaceted needs of individuals and neighborhoods. 
    We provide targeted training programs for at-risk youth with promise and those emancipating from foster care. Our aim is to empower young individuals with the skills and support needed to overcome challenges, discover their potential, and contribute positively to society.
       Our mission is driven by faith, compassion, and a dedication to creating positive, lasting change. We believe in the power of community collaboration and aim to be a beacon of hope, supporting individuals as they journey towards holistic well-being and economic empowerment.

       We are dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages in our local community. Our services include feeding the hungry, supporting the homeless, facilitating reading programs, promoting healthy lifestyles, and engaging in prison ministry. Your participation in the race will help Progressive Community Economic Development further our mission to uplift and support individuals in our community

**Participants of all ages are welcome to come walk or run and/or compete for some great prizes for our winners!

**Note: Registration packets will be ready for pick up the Friday before the race at Fleet Feet (1866 Forsythe Ave, Monroe, La 71201).

There are no refunds for race registration. In the event the race is canceled or rescheduled for weather purposes an email will be sent to all registered runners.
