    The 2023 Danville Half Marathon, presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union, features a new course that begins at 215 Main St., Danville, VA 24541. This is an out and back course starting and finishing on MLK Bridge. The mostly flat course will run along the beautiful Riverwalk Trail by the Dan River. The course is paved and the WASHED OUT CULVERT HAS BEEN REPLACED. THIS IS A CHIP TIMED RACE. ALL AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN BASED ON GUN TIME. Course time limit will be 3.5 hours (16:00 minute mile pace). Timing will be conducted by Blue Ridge Timing, Lynchburg, Virginia.
