Join us for our Third Annual Arise and Run 5k Race

Join us for our 3rd annual Arise & Run 5K, benefiting Selah Place, Empowered to Change, Inc, and Isaiah Village, Inc. Three organizations...one goal...to provide SAFE  housing, support, and hope for the vulnerable men, women, and children of Pinellas County.

Selah Place is a nationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to supporting single women and their children in our community who have experienced various types and degrees of trauma and are struggling to stay together as a family.  These traumatic events have left many of them scarred, isolated and stuck in a cycle of hurt and brokenness. Drug addiction, human trafficking, incarceration, domestic violence, homelessness and child welfare have been written into the stories of most of these families. Even when they were able to find freedom from these vices, like many other single-mom led families, the women and children of Selah Place found themselves drowning financially and overwhelmed by poverty.  At Selah Place, we are surrounding these families on their journey to hope, healing, health, and freedom. Through our very low-cost housing program we are able to alleviate some of the financial strain and provide the family with a season to pause, to reflect on their lives and discover their purpose. We help them dream of the future they could have, set goals, and achieve those goals together with our support. Families can stay in our program and low-cost, safe housing for a maximum of three years as they work towards their financial and educational goals as well as their mental, spiritual, and emotional healing.

The mission of Isaiah Village is the empower and promote independence in adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Isaiah Village is a visionary inclusive community development, providing a haven for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to foster hope, independence, and a thriving environment where everyone can reach their full potential. At Isaiah Village, we stand beside families and individuals, offering optional faith-based support throughout their journey, empowering them with the resources needed for success. Together, we will build a Village.

At Empowered to Change International we believe ALL people have hope and the ability to live a life free from abuses of any kind, and can learn how to be productive, engaging assets of their community. Our goal is to inspire individuals to launch into a place of self-sufficiency; utilizing their voice and empowering others.
Our Safe Housing Program is a comprehensive program that brings an individual from life crippling circumstances to a safe and clean environment. We begin with a safe place to heal along with equipping individuals with tools necessary to begin again with life coaching, trauma therapy, MRT development, employment coaching, and financial education. We are represented in the judicial courtrooms of several counties because of our diversionary programs. These programs provide the ones suffering from addiction with the tools necessary to become productive members of society rather than being incarcerated. It takes the support of the community to strengthen the individual through the transitional phases from a place of brokenness to a place of hope and healing.

The event is within the beautiful Walsingham Park, 12615 102nd Avenue, Largo, FL 33778.

This 5k will be chip timed by Florida Race Day with live results. We will be awarding the fastest runners based on age and gender.

Everyone who registers before January 24th will receive a t-shirt. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt.

Packet pick up date and locations-  2/7 from 6-8pm @ 10321 75th St, Largo, FL 33777.
