About Fall N2 Fitness - General Race Info

This year's Fall N2 Fitness we are celebrating our 15th year of promoting The Branch Way - Loving to Learn. Learning to Lead. Leading with Love. As a community we are meeting at Pavilion 5 at Bear Creek Pioneers Park on November 17 for our annual timed 5k or untimed 1k fun run event. Here are the details for this year's race: 

Online Race Registration - Ends November 13 Online registration for the 5K and 1K races ends November 13 at 11:59pm. After that, you can still register on race day! Please just show up early so you have plenty of time to pay and affix your bib. Online registration for the Sleep In option closes on 11/17. 

SOLD OUT - T-Shirt Deadline - Sign up by November 1! Sign up for either the timed 5K or untimed 1K in-person race or to sleep in (see details below) by November 1 and be guaranteed to receive a COOL race shirt in your selected size. Online registrations will continue to be accepted until November 13 but shirts will be in limited quantities and sizes and may run out, which may result in a late registrant not receiving a shirt. Onsite, race day registrations will also be accepted. 

Limited supply left - Sponsor Totes Structured zip-top tote celebrating all of our sponsors and The Branch School Spirit. Limited quantities available. Registration after November 1 may result in a registrant not receiving a tote due to limited quantities. 

Custom Race Medal All runners in the 5k/1k race will receive a beautiful medal to commemorate our 15th year. (medal not included in the sleep-in option...but you do still get to sleep in!) Race Medal Sponsorship still available! 

Sleep in Don't want to race but still want swag? Sign up to sleep in by November 1 and receive a cool Fall N2 Fitness shirt and a new reusable tote bag! Registrations to sleep in will continue to be accepted after the November 1 deadline but shirts will be in limited quantities and sizes and may run out, which may result in a late registrant not receiving a shirt. 

Multi Participant Pricing A discount of $15 off each registrant will be applied at checkout, making it affordable for families to do this event together! So sign up your student, but also sign up yourself, your grandparents, your siblings and anyone else who wants to race with you! Do you have a neighbor who loves to run? Or likes to walk? Get them to sign up too!

Awards

5K Age Group Awards Special awards given to the top racers of our in-person 5K! This is always a popular feature with not only the students, but also the parents. Awards are 1st-3rd place, male and female, for the following age groups: Under 6; 6-9; 10-13; 14-17; 18+. Yes there are awards for top adult finishers too!!!!! Scroll down below for additional information about age group awards and award integrity! 

Fundraising Awards Students will have an opportunity to set up a fundraising link through Run Sign Up when you select that they will be a fundraiser and set up their personalized and shareable Run Sign Up Fundraising Page. As your students raise funds they will both benefit the school and also unlock Fundraising Prizes! The top fundraiser will be announced to the school and receive a super awesome grand prize! Packet Distribution/Pick Up - Friday 11/15 and Race Day

Friday Morning 11/15 During Branch School Drop off from 7:30-8:30am   Friday Afternoon 11/15 During Branch School Pick Up from 3:10-4:00pm

Race Day There will be limited packet pick up on race day if we are unable to get your packet to you during either one of the Friday times. Please arrive to the race grounds by 7am if you are picking up a packet on race day to allow plenty of time to collect your packet and pin your bibs.

Where to Go The starting and finish lines are located at Pavilion 5 in Bear Creek Park. On race day you will need to access the park from Clay Road as roads from the other direction will be closed to safe guard the race route. Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up Race day registration and packet pick up will be limited. As with any registration occurring after the t-shirt deadline of November 1, if you are not registering until race day we are unable to guarantee you we will be able to provide you with a race shirt. However if we have shirts we will definitely give one to you! If you are picking up your packet or registering on race day, please arrive early! 7am at the latest and please bring a check or cash or be prepared to pay online using your device.  

Group Warmup We will be offering a group warmup at 7:30 am. This always a fun way to get ready to race (and super cute to watch). We highly encourage all racers, regardless of whether they are running the 5K or 1K, to come for the warmup! 

Timed 5K Start The 5K will start promptly at 8:00 am. The 5K is a timed race. It is MANDATORY that participants wear the bib specifically assigned to them. Bibs have names on them and they are NOT interchangeable. You must be wearing a bib assigned to you. Failure to wear your correct assigned bib will result in errors in age group awards. 

Untimed 1k Start The 1K will start promptly at 8:15 am. This is an untimed race. Registration is required but a bib is not required.

End of Race Celebration The end of race celebration will commence as the participants finish the race. This year we have a fun Foam Party planned. If you are interested in sponsoring this event please let us know!

Age Group Awards/Award Integrity Awards are 1st-3rd place, male and female, for the following age groups: Under 6; 6-9; 10-13; 14-17; 18+  Results will be printed and available for review by parents ONLY prior to race announcements. Printed results are preliminary until finalized by the race director. The parent review will be your opportunity to correct any mistakes in timing. Race integrity and proper awards are of upmost important to us. Please notify the timing team, Betsy West or Adrienne Tinder, immediately if you see any errors in timing. Furthermore, if you have any concerns about race integrity during the race, please immediately notify Betsy West or Adrienne Tinder.

Weather This is a rain or shine event. However, if the park cancels the event for safety or due to course inaccessibility, this event will convert to a virtual race with a celebration for Branch School students at a later time.
