Help foster the growth of the latest growth sport: Competitive Eat&Run.
From the producers of Bassett’s Eat&Run World Championship comes the newest eat and run challenge: The DONUT 5,000.
All entrants will be placed in one of three waves, seeded by submitted times, with 24 participants in each wave. The fastest participants will be in the final heat. The first heat will begin at 5:40PM. Each heat has a one-hour time limit.
The maximum total field is 72 athletes.
All participants will receive at commemorative t-shirt the dozen donuts you will eat, and the opportunity to create a story you’ll tell for a long time, at least until next year’s race.
You will be able to leave your own hydration beverage of choice at your eating station. Please keep in mind Council Rock High School North is a smoke-free and alcohol-free space.
In the interest of fairness all competitors will be eating Dunkin' Donuts glazed donuts. There is no gluten free option.
Nutritional information and complete Rules of Competition will be forwarded to registrants in advance of the event.
Awards to the top three men and women.
Should we sell out, we will add $100 Prize Purse for the Men’s and Women’s Champions.
Economies of Scale mean the small field with some large line item expenses means our cost per participant is fairly high.
We must vacate the facility by 9:00PM on race day, so eat and run fast.
COVID PROTOCOLS at the time of the race will be imposed and may include but not be limited to mask-wearing in pre-race and post-race areas when social distancing is not possible
