The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race! 

The Gold Rush Race will be a 5k, 10k & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 16th, 2024! 

Proceeds from this year's Gold Rush Race Event will benefit Camp Anderson.  Camp Anderson is a local camp in Tyrone, built in 1926.   In all of Camp Anderson's years, it has never seen as many people as it does today.  With a record number of visitors to the camp, it is now needing to improve its infrastructure. Focusing on the septic system to keep up with the influx of campers and in addition a new storage facility to house equipment needed for the property.

The start and finish line will be in front of Tyrone Armory.

Timeline of Events:

6:30 AM : Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone Armory 

• Address : 956 S. Logan Ave Tyrone, PA 16686

8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run starts (Cutoff times for 10Ks is an hour and a half)

9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)

10:00 AM: Awards and Closing Ceremony

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by March 1st to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt.

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to  7:30 AM

Gold Rush 5K/10K Adults (18+):

• Early Registration: $30
• Day of Registration: $35

Gold Rush 5K/10K High School Students (18 years & younger): 

• Early Registration: $15
• Day of Registration: $20

Gold Rush Kids Sprint Children 9 & Under:

• Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15
• Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
• Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

*Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 2XL

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Gold Rush Race, all proceeds will be given to Camp Anderson.

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Gold Rush committee. Any updates will be  posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
