    ABOUT THIS EVENT

    The Brainerd Kiwanis Club is hosting the 15th annual Kids Triathlon at Whipple Beach, in Baxter, MN. The wide sand beach, protected swim area, and quiet, dead-end residential roads will create a fun and safe venue for beginner and experienced youth triathletes alike. Registration will be limited to the first 350 registrants.

    Race Distances
    Ages 5-9: Swim 25 yards Bike 2 miles Run 1 mile. Ages 10-14: Swim 50 yards Bike 4 miles Run 2 miles

    New this year:
    Packet pick up will only be offered on the day of the race beginning at 1:30pm at the race site.

    REGISTRATION:

    Registration is $24.  Participants registered before 8/1 will be guaranteed their selected shirt and size.

    Online Registration will close at 10:00am on the day of the race. There will be no race day sign up in person at the event.

     

    SCHEDULE:

    Packet pick up begins at 1:30pm

    Body marking and transition area open at 2:00pm

    Race waves begin at 4:00pm

    Awards begin after race completion around 6:00pm

    AGE GROUPS/AWARDS:

    The top three boys and girls in each age will be recognized
