    Welcome to the 5th year of the Carrollton Half Marathon! We are so excited about this year's race. We have two BIG changes coming. 

    The first update to this year's race will be to the...drumroll...THE COURSE! We will be including a new section that will make the course slightly easier and add more of Carrollton's beautiful scenery. This course change will move the finish line slightly further down the hill making the finish line hill a little more manageable and not as long. 

    The second update will be for those participants who have run the first four races. If you are one of these participants and participate in this year's race you will be given a one-of-a-kind 5th-year pin! 

    All race proceeds benefit The Carrollton Greenbelt and The Community Foundation of West Georgia. This foundation helps fund many projects in the Carrollton and Carroll County area.

    Race Day Schedule

    Packet Pickup: 6am - 6:45am
    Race Start: 7:15am

    Description

    The Half Marathon’s 13.1-mile course starts at Adamson Square and then takes runners through the city, past Lake Carroll, and along the shaded, rolling hills of the Carrollton GreenBelt. The route finishes back at Adamson Square with a festival featuring music, entertainment, food, and drinks. Individual or relay team registration includes a Carrollton Half Marathon t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and free food and drink tickets for the post-race festivities.

    Awards

    SoleRoots Running Co. will present awards for the half marathon. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall Male and Female runners. They will also receive a commemorative medal hanger and gift. 1st place Male and Female in the Masters category will be presented with a commemorative medal hanger and gift. The top 3 in each age group and top 3 teams in the relay categories will receive the commemorative gift as a prize. All finishers will be given a Finisher’s medal.*

    1st - $500, commemorative plaque and gift
    2nd - $200, commemorative plaque and gift
    3rd - $100, commemorative plaque and gift

    Overall Masters Male and Female

    1st - commemorative plaque and gift
