This ultra-marathon is to be run in conjunction with the Oklahoma Gravel Growler bike race.  There will be two distances to choose from (approximately 25km and 55km) that will be run on the same roads as the bike event.  There will be ample aid stations (approximately every 5 miles).  The road surface is a mix of pavement, chip & seal and gravel.  The race starts and finishes at the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Festival Grounds in Shawnee!

Your entry fee gets you a super cool event t-shirt, OrangeMud buff and a ticket for complimentary food after the Growler. There will be more swag ... announcement will be coming. A portion of every entry goes to support music education for PreK - 2nd Grade at Tecumseh Public Schools.  You can make an additional donation if you want!  All of the Arts, but especially music education, have never been properly funded.  One of our passions is music and the reality is that the earlier students get introduced to it, the more likely it will positively impact them in life!  All of the money raised at the 2023 Oklahoma Gravel Growler will go directly to buy supplies, instruments and help offset costs to ensure that every child in Tecumseh Public Schools gets to start music education starting in PreK.  If this means as much to you as it does to us, consider an additional donation!

Join us for the registration party on Friday night at the race start. Food, fun, and a sponsor fair. 

Men's and women's overall winners of the long course will receive a custom Orange Mud hydration pack!  

GPS files of the course will be emailed to all registered participants a few days prior to the event. All distances consist of rolling rural roads with plenty of short steep climbs. All courses will be marked and professionally timed.  Register early as prices go up to $60 on site.  You are only guaranteed a race shirt if you register before January 15.  After that selection is limited.
