State Forty-Seven 47K / 50K details: 

Looking for a new road distance beyond the marathon and would like to have the status of being an ultra-marathoner? We have your event! Please join us for the inaugural State Forty-Seven Road 47K/50K. The 31-mile plus trek will run along the marathon route with a slight route change around Mile 20 that will direct you to take a paved trail around the Links Golf Course where most runners will eventually be joined by marathoners for company and inspiration to finish the 47K distance. If you dare to continue to say you are an Ultra Marathoner, we have an extra 1.8 miles that will continue on through that will bring you back to the finish area to complete the 50K distance. 
Note: This is one event with an option to run additional mileage to achieve the 50K distance. Both distances will be officially timed.

This event will start/finish from Wingfield Park.
The race will start 1 hour before the marathon begins with a 2 pm cutoff time and headlamps are strongly suggested. 
The 47K/50K will be limited to the first 50 registrants.

State Forty-Seven 47K/50k swag will be completely different including a Long-sleeved shirt, Trucker Cap, and Inaugural custom medal to all finishers.
