OhioGuidestone's biennial Promise Run is back at Wallace Lake!

Join us in a 5k, 10k, or 1-mile run/walk to benefit the individuals OhioGuidestone serves. Each registered participant will receive a run bag with a Promise Run t-shirt and a complimentary smoothie following the race. Plan to stick around for some "Post-Run Fun" - re-energize with delicious food from local food trucks, check out some artisan vendor booths, and enjoy family-friendly jams!  Awards will be presented to the top performers in multiple categories (see Awards section below). Get a group together, bring the whole family (pets included!), or come solo - we can't wait to see you once again at Wallace Lake!

We run for those who are forging new life paths with the help of OhioGuidestone. We run because we are committed to mental health and well-being. We run because our programs are the keys to surviving — to thriving. We run because every success story began with a first step.

Registration Fees:

Pre-Registration (now through August 31st) for individuals:
10k - $35
5k - $35
1mi - $30 

Pre-Registration for a group of 4 or more: 
10k - $25/each member
5k - $25/each member
1mi - $20/each member

Late Registration & Day-of (Sept 1st-14th): 
10k - $40
5k - $40
1mi - $35

​*Option to "opt-out" of receiving a Promise Run t-shirt as part of run bag to save $5 is available for all pre-registered participants.

**Late and Day-of Registrations are not guaranteed a shirt and sizes will be subject to availability

Start Times:
10k starts at 8:30 am

5k & 1-mile starts at 9:00 am

**If you did not pick up your run packet (bib + run bag) prior to the day of the run, please allow extra time before your run starts to check in and collect your run packet.  Check-in opens at 7:30 am the day of.

Packet Pickup:

Packets will be available for pick-up the week before the run on the following days/times at the address listed below: 
      Wednesday, September 11th from 4-6 pm
      Thursday, September 12th from 5-7 pm
      at OhioGuidestone's Donation Center
      434 Eastland Rd, Berea, OH 44017

      We may add more regional pick-up locations as needed.

Day-of registration and packet pick-up will open at 7:30 am. Please allow extra time for this process.

Virtual Run/Walk:

If you are unable to join us on Saturday, September 14th in Berea, you can still participate virtually and support a great cause! Run or walk at home on your own time (you don't even have to walk/run on the same day!), or with an organized group in your neighborhood.  If you are able to organize a group run/walk in your locality, please contact Molly Martens at molly.martens@ohioguidestone.org so that we can publicize your group's meeting place for more potential participants to join you.  Please note that you will not receive a bib for signing up for a virtual run/walk, but your run bag with your Promise Run t-shirt may be available for pick-up at one of our regional offices (please check back for more information) or can be shipped to you for an additional cost at checkout.

10k and 5K: Chip timed
1 Mile: Untimed

10k - Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female Overall
     Top Male & Female "Masters" in 65+ age group
     Top Male & Female "Juniors" for 12 & under age group

5k - Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female Overall
     Top Male & Female "Masters" in 65+ age group
     Top Male & Female "Juniors" for 12 & under age group
