    IT IS THE YEAR OF THE BACKWARDS CANYON!  What comes up, must come down either direction!  Have you ever wanted to run up some challenging hills in Anniston on a unique distance course?  You get your wish!  The Anniston Runners Club’s Canyon Climb grants all those wishes with one race – a unique 5-miler that starts from the Tyler Center and runs through the hills of Anniston before finishing back at the Tyler Center.  Not up for 5 miles?  You can choose the 2.7 mile option, perfect for the beginning runner or walker. Overall Winners for top 3 Male and Female in each distance.  Age group awards for top 3 male and female for the 5 mile only. 10 year increments for age groups.  

    Note: Race Day Registration is $30.00.  T-shirts are allocated by available stock.  Register early to be guaranteed a shirt.  

    This is the second race of the Anniston Runners Club Fab Four Series.
