    The Most Beautiful Race You Will Run All Year!  The race is held each year at Historic Lake Scott State Park, north of Scott City. Hidden in the Western Kansas prairie, the park is a startling oasis of natural springs, deep wooded canyons, and craggy bluffs. The 1,020-acre park surrounds the 100-acre spring-fed Scott Lake Fishing Lake. We welcome walkers, casual joggers, advanced runners, strollers, and wheelchairs. No bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, etc. 

    Registration Fees: $40 for 5k or 10k and $25 for 1 mile.  $10 price increase for each event on race day.

    1st Place Male/Female - 2nd Place Male/Female - 3rd Place Male/Female 

    5k Prizes:
    1st Place Male/Female - 2nd Place Male/Female - 3rd Place Male/Female 

    10K Prize  
    1st $1,000, 2nd $500, and 3rd $100    

     5K  Prize
    1st $500, 2nd $200, and 3rd $100
