    Folsom Lake International Triathlon 
    The Folsom Lake International Triathlon started in 2012. The 2024 event will be limited to 300 athletes. The race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and takes place at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake, with a 1.5K lake swim, 40K scenic road bike on country roads and a challening 10K trail run.

    The Folsom Lake International Triathlon is in its 14th year. The race is at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake, featuring a lake swim, scenic road bike on country roads and a beautiful trail run.

    This year, due to road construction, there will be two Transition Areas for the Folsom Lake International Triathlon. 

    The Olympic-distance Triathlon and Aquabike are sanctioned by USA Triathlon, requiring an annual or one-day license with USAT. Included for each competitor is a swim cap, post race refreshments and custom Folsom Lake Triathlon Runners Hat. 

    Commemorative Folsom Lake International Triathlon race t-shirts are available for $15 when ordered before May 6th. 

    First place Male and Female in the Folsom Lake International Triathlon will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards five deep in each five-year age group and Relay Team awards for the Top team in each Division of Male, Female and Coed.

    The Aqua-Bike will have awards for the top three male and female overall finishers.

    Folsom Lake International Triathlon - 1.5K swim-40K bike-10K run.

    Aqua-Bike - 1.5K swim-40K bike.

    Relay Teams

    Relay Teams awards will be for top three in male, female and coed divisions. 

    Packet Pick Up Information

    Packet Pick-up for Saturday's Folsom Lake International Triathlon is race morning at the race venue from 6 a.m. until 8 a.m. 

    The Swim-to-Bike Transition Area (T1) is at Granite Beach. The Bike-to-Run Transition Area (T2) is at Old County Road, a 10-minute walk from Granite Beach. Athletes will need to set up T2 before the race starts and should allow an extra 20-25 minutes for this task.

    Folsom Lake Olympic-distance Triathlon - 8 a.m. with waves to be announced. 

    Race for FREE Information

    Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing Volunteer Director Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

    Refund and Transfer Information

    TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $25 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
