5K & 1 mile night fun run through beautiful downtown Americus, GA. Runners meet at Rylander Park/Lenny's Market for registration pick up. Runners endure a challenging course with hills and lots of beautiful downtown scenes and spectators along the route. Unique awards are presented to Overall Male/ Female and Senior Male/Female winners as well as individual age group winners that are exclusively created for The Shamrock Jog & Jam by the Art Dept. at Georgia Southwestern State University. All proceeds from this event go to The Scott Law Foundation which is a local charity that provides financial assistance to individuals who are facing life threatening illness such as cancer. It was created in memory of local firefighter, Scott Law who succumbed to cancer in 2007. We hope you'll come join us for this great cause and this awesome family friendly event.
