Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:
The Bay Saint Louis Run+SUP is a unique race in beautiful Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, ranked in the top 5 of America's Best Coastal Small Towns by "USA Today"!
The Bay Saint Louis Running Company is hosting the second annual RUN+SUP run and paddle race. Participants will run a 5K race and then battle it out on the high seas in a 1-Mile stand-up paddle board (SUP) race. Awards will be ranked by overall time. In addition to the individual category, there will also be a 2-person-team relay category where one teammate runs and one paddles. We will have chip timing starting this year for fast and accurate results as well as a continuous transition from run to paddle.
Runners will run a 5K out and back along the beach sidewalk, and paddlers will paddle out then south parallel to the beach for an out and back 1-mile race.
For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...
