    2.5 mile bike ride
    0.5 mile run

This is the perfect event for a kids first triathlon experience. While awards will be given to the fastest in each age group, this event is not structured as a competitive race. Rather, this is a chance to celebrate health & fitness, encourage self confidence and most of all have fun while being active.

Registration will be capped at 150 athletes.
Participants must register online by August 23rd by noon.

Please contact the Janesville Parks & Rec office for questions.

    TRANSITION CLINIC & Q&A

Friday August 25th 5:30pm-7pm at Rockport Pool
Sometimes switching from swimming to biking and biking to running can be confusing. What do you do with your bike? How do you put on shoes?
These questions and more will be answered during our Transition Clinic and Q&A. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged and free.
The Transition Clinic will be held during Packet Pick Up from 5:30-6:30pm and the Q&A will be held after Packet Pick Up from 6:30-7pm.
Racers are free to attend both or just one.
Please bring your gear including your bike, helmet, swim suit, shoes and whatever else you have.
You will be able to get in the pool, ride through the course, and run the path.

    AWARDS

Medals given to the top 3 finishers in each age group

    Packet Pick-Up

Friday, August 25th 5:30pm-6:30pm at Peace Park Pavilion

Saturday, August 26th 7:30am-8:30am at Peace Park Pavilion

    RULES

One parent per child may assist with transition area setup. No additional children or parents will be allowed in the transition area.
We will have volunteers to assist with transition area set up as well as swim-to-bike and bike-to-run transitions for all ages.
Parents are discouraged from walking/running along the bike and run courses along side their children.
Instead, they are encouraged to find a stationary location to take pictures and encourage their children.

If our minimum athletes of 50 is not reached by August 4th then the event will be cancelled. Late registration and race day registration will not be allowed.

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
