Back for its third year, Wabash Run The River is a chip-timed race that starts in the heart of Wabash County and runs along the Wabash River! From competitive athletes to leisure runners, this event appeals to everyone! Choose run options from a 5K, 10K, or 13.1M half marathon that runs along the scenic WABASH RIVER TRAIL located along the Wabash River. 

EVENT TIMELINE
6 AM - 8 AM - Runner check-in to receive numbers & event shirt (those who register by April 30th) at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground (410 S Carroll St, Wabash)
8:30 AM - 13.1M Half Marathon Start Time
8:55 AM - Team Triumph Start Time
9 AM - 5K & 10K Start Time

There will be verification mats will be along each route to ensure runners qualify for the cash prizes.

***High school and college athletes are ineligible to accept cash rewards in accordance with IHSAA regulations. Should a high school or college athlete place first, second or third, in any of the WRTR races those funds will be donated to a local charity in their honor. It is up to the athlete to comply with all IHSAA regulations and not the responsibility of WRTR or its staff and volunteers to enforce said guidelines.***

WATER STOPS
Located at 1.5 miles, 3 miles, & 6 miles along the route.  As you return, runners will hit the same water stops.

Water & Gatorade will be available at each water stop. 

IMPORTANT INFO🚨

• Event t-shirts & pint glasses are guaranteed with registrations made by April 30th. Any excess muscle tanks & pint glasses will be available after 12 PM on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
• The event takes place RAIN OR SHINE with no inclement weather backup date. The Director of Wabash County Emergency Management monitors the weather conditions closely. Should the event need to be canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, a notification will appear on the website and be pushed via the Wabash County Adventure Series Facebook page.
