This race is in honor of ALL the First Responders and Military Members who have sacrificed so much over the past 21 years. We must NEVER FORGET our past and honor those who responded to the call, while celebrating the heroes who DAILY answer the call.

ON SUNDAY, September 11th IN-PERSON Participants have the option of a timed 5k or 9.11k Ruck/Run in Powell Ohio.

- Ruck Means you can choose to Ruck (Putting a backpack on your back with a minimum of 25lbs) and complete 5k or 9.11k. 

*NOTE Minimal Pace for either mileage is < 20 Min Mile Pace

Course will close (to this event) at 11:15am

The race will start at Adventure Park, Powell, and head north on a tree-lined trail through Powell. 

**PACKET PICKUP is on RACE DAY at Adventure Park.

The 9.11k race will start at 8:45 am which is when the North Tower of the World Trade Center was hit.

The 5k Race will start at 9:03 am, the time of the second attack, in which United Airlines Flight 175 impacting the 60th Floor of The South Tower.

At the 2.5k mark there will be a turn-around point for those participating in the 5k. The 9.11k will continue North on the trail until you come to the 4.55k turn-around. This is an Out and Back course for both races.

A VIRTUAL RACE option is also available to choose your own course wherever you want to run/walk or ruck. You can also choose your distance of 5k or 9.11k and this Race Window will open 9/8-9/11.

VIRTUAL WILL NOT BE OFFICIALLY TIMED

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE PACKETS SENT VIA MAIL ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11, 2022.
