    The Mile High Mile presented by Sara Vaughn at Liv Sotheby' is back for 2023 and bigger than ever!! This year we are hosting at Fairview High School where they have top facilities, including bathrooms, concessions stand, PA with announcing and music, grandstands, lots of parking, etc.

    It is conveniently located in South Boulder, CO and there are lots of great areas to warm up and cool down around the facility. 

    We aim to build a high-energy event for runners of all ages and abilities. With each wave, we introduce all athletes, and there is a chance to break the tape!  Stick around to cheer the top competition under the stars and the lights!

    Masters

    Masters will be defined as 40 years or older for these events.

    Age Graded - There will be a prize package for the top Age Graded performance for both men and women.

    Will we see an attempt at the 4 min mile barrier in CO? YES WE WILL!

    8:30 Masters - 6:00 and slower
    8:45 Masters - 6:00 or faster 
    9:00 High Plains Bank Elite Women 
    9:15 Colorado Sports Chiropractic Elite Men 

    Prize Money and Awards

    Our prize purse is larger than ever with special-time bonus payouts so let's get after it!

    $4,000 total purse

    Elite Men & Women: $500, $350, $225, $100, $75, $50
    Master’s (40+) Men and Women: $100, $75, $50

    Elite Time Bonuses:
    $5 per second faster than 4:30 for men, and 5:10 for women.

    $1,000 from Roll Recovery for the first person in each race to break 4:00 for men, and 4:30 for women.

    All youth runners will receive a finisher’s ribbon.
