    2023 SUPERHERO SHOWDOWN RACE

          

    Are you ready? Time to pull out your cape and gather your forces!
    Super T's Mast Cell Foundation is pleased to present the 8th Annual Superhero Showdown Race supporting mast cell diseases. Whether you participate in-person or virtually, a community of patients needs your support for a disease that is currently incurable, and underdiagnosed. 
    Mast cell diseases can significantly impair patients’ quality of life and require specialized diagnosis and treatment. Super T’s strives to help patients overcome these challenges by being a source they can turn to for financial support.  As the only nonprofit providing grants to patients, we also provide resources that guide patients in receiving a diagnosis and treatment.  We want patients to know, they are never alone.  Something Taylor always wanted every patient to feel, supported and part of a team.  
    The Superhero Showdown Race is part of our 20 days of raising awareness in October that leading right up to October 20th, Mast Cell Disease Awareness Day.  Please join us and help make a difference in a community that needs your support. Bonus- your race shirt can be worn on Mast Cell Disease Awareness Day to show your support for our patient community.

    AWARDS:
    • Award for largest team : In-Person & Virtual 
    • Award for top three in all age categories
    • Awards are in-person
     
    In-Person:
    • Join us in-person at Norristown Farm Park on October 7th, 2023 (Whitehall Road Entrance)
    • Events include: 5K,15K, and 1-Mile Run/Walk
    • All events will be timed
    • Parking at Norristown High School 
    • SWAG:  EVeryone will receive a medal, and a Showdown longsleeve shirt guaranteed to participants registered by September 7, 2023.

    Virtual:
    • Complete the race anytime from September 30th (the Saturday before the in-person race) through October 7th (the day of the in-person race)
    • After completing the virtual race, you will be given the opportunity to submit your race time through your RunSignUp profile. All race times and photos must be submitted before midnight of October 7th, 2023.
    • All virtual swag will be mailed out by October 28, 2023.
