RACE DETAILS:
Join us on Thanksgiving Morning for a run/ walk/ wobble that kicks off your Thanksgiving Morning festivities! The race event will begin at 9am on Arlington Street next to Wingfield Park. Participants will make their way through downtown Reno and the nearby parks before returning to the finish where they will get a finisher's medal upon completion. Reno's Wobble Before You Gobble is the best Thanksgiving family tradition for the whole family!

Online registration will remain open until race morning, Thursday, November 23 at 8:00am. From 8:00am-8:45am, you can register in-person at our start line at Wingfield Park. Only cash will be accepted!

STROLLERS & WALKERS/ DOGS/ HEADPHONES:
-Strollers and walkers are allowed! We ask walkers to start in the back on the field to allow runners to take off first. Strollers can start in their preferred pace group.
-Dogs: We love our furry friends but unfortunately our insurance does not allow for dogs. Service dogs are allowed.
-Headphones: Please keep one ear free so you can hear safety officials and volunteers.

You will have three opportunities to pick up your race bib.

We STRONGLY discourage race morning pickup as lines will be long. If you must pick up in the morning, please arrive early!!

To reduce the impact on Downtown Reno, we are asking participants to park in the surrounding parking garages. Please note that some garages due charge.

For the safety of you and your community, we please ask that you follow local, state, and federal regulations in regards to social distancing and Covid-19.

REFUNDS/ CANCELLATIONS:
There are NO refunds. NO exceptions.
We fully expect to host this event in person! If for any reason it must be cancelled, all participants will be entered into a virtual race.

Course Info!
The 5K will kick off at Wingfield Park on Arlington Ave. Participants will head north before turning left onto 1st St. Runners will take 1st St to Riverside Dr and follow Riverside Dr to Idlewild Dr. Runners will enter Idlewild Park, run through Idlewild Park before jumping back onto Idlewild Dr and heading back to the finish line! The 5K course will be well marked with orange cones and signs. The course is flat and will take you through Downtown Reno and Idlewild Park. This event is walker friendly and stroller friendly!

The 5K will have an aid station with water at mile 1.5.
The 1 Mile will take off at Winfield Park and follow the river path until joining the 5K course and finishing under the arch.
BENEFITING THE CHILDREN'S CABINET
The Children’s Cabinet is a Nevada nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping children safe and families together. Since 1985, The Children’s Cabinet has collaborated with public partners and community leaders to identify gaps in service and to meet the needs of a wide-ranging age group—from small children to young adults.
Services include child care resources; parenting classes; education and work experience programs; outreach to runaway, homeless, and foster youth; and family counseling. With the help of donations and other community support, The Children’s Cabinet is able to provide its many programs and services at no charge.

We will be hosting a raffle with 100% proceeds going directly to Children's Cabinet. Raffle tickets will be for sale during online registration and at packet pickup.
​
Winners will be announced at the Children's Cabinet booth at the finish line!
