On April 28th, 2024, over 20,000 runners will complete a remarkable running journey at the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon.
The iconic route starts in hip North Brooklyn and winds around the waterfront taking you under the historic Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges while delivering eye popping views of Manhattan.
From there, the route heads up the historic concourses of Fulton Street & Flatbush Avenue before passing through Grand Army Plaza and into fabled brownstone Brooklyn before finishing in Prospect Park.
The Course
The USATF Certified course will be electronically timed using the MYLAPS Bibtag system. There will be timing (split) points and clocks throughout the course. Water, Lemon Lime Nuun Endurance, and restrooms will be available approximately every 1 - 2 miles. Medical support will be available throughout the course.

NYCRUNS organizes running events of the highest quality that are easy to navigate, focused on safety, and filled with memorable moments. Medical tents, restrooms, and hydration stations are located throughout the course. Runners receive a race shirt when they receive their bib and a well-earned medal at the finish, along with bottled Smartwater, fresh Brooklyn bagels (with a shmear of course), NYS apples and more.
Runners can check a bag (at the Expo only) so it's waiting for them at the post-finish area in Prospect Park after the race. Following the race, runners can purchase photos of their run taking along the 13.1-mile course by MarathonFoto.
The 2024 NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon Expo is the place to be the days before the race to pick up bibs and race shirts, check a bag, shop for cool race gear, and more. Runners can make their miles matter more by running for one of our many Cause Partners who are making a difference. Family and friends can support runners along the course or at the finish area.
