A commYOUnity race in the heart of your community! Join beginners and seasoned racers from around the region for our flagship event! The Dow RunWalk is the largest foot-race in the Greater Midland neighborhood and second in our region.

Back by popular demand - Our Tot Trotters will race to the FINISH line with a half-block + dash (distance varies by age group). Tots will take off in waves* starting at 9:20 AM (5 years), 9:25 AM (4 years) and 9:30 AM (3 years). Cheer on your TOT as they cross the FINISH line to complete their race! Participant award for all. *Times subject to change slightly prior to race day.

The Greater Midland Race Team is proud to partner with H.H. High School students each year to design custom Dow RunWalk and Tot Trot logos that are featured throughout the community for many years to come. This real client-based project allows the students to learn important steps like a client briefing, creating concepts, touring printing facilities, presenting logo concepts, and implementing client feedback. Congratulations to the 2024 Logo Designers, Bella Brown and Jacob Nguyen.
About the Designer: Bella Brown
Bella Brown will be attending the University of Illinois to study Graphic Design and Business in the fall. She is also a member of the Dow High newspaper staff as the managing editor for graphics and design. In her free time, she loves to run, make jewelry, and travel. Bella's design is meant to inspire the runners and walkers to take a step forward toward better health.
About the Designer: Jacob Nguyen
Jacob Nguyen (pronounced "hwhen") will be attending the College for Creative Studies, the highly-respected Art school in Detroit, this-coming fall. He will be studying Illustration and Art Education. Jacob was the president of the Dow High chapter of the National Art Honor Society, where he led his peers through artistic volunteering opportunities. Jacob has also been involved in the Dow High drama productions as both cast and crew. He loves drawing, painting, and sculpting, and working with other artists. Jacob's Tot Trot design highlights the growth that children go through. It also radiates a playful personality often reflected as children run and play.
