Event Parking is available at both Fruitport Middle and Fruitport High School.

Shotgun start is at 8:30 am

Finish line will be on the track at the 50 yard line of the football field

Top finisher medals to the top three male and female finishers for multiple age groups. Overall top male and female finisher will receive an award.

Annual Run (jog, walk) and Ride in memory or honor of a loved one!
An out and back course that will take you through the rolling hills of Fruitport with medals for top female and male finishers.
The 42nd Annual Fruitport Old Fashioned Days 5K run will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in support of The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence.
Runners, walkers, joggers and bikers must register online. Online registration and crowdfunding open with all proceeds to benefit the community-based Poppen Hospice Residence in Fruitport Township. Since 2006, the Fruitport and surrounding communities have supported the annual event with over $20,000 in proceeds benefiting our inpatient hospice program, The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence, which opened in 2005.
*Limited edition short-sleeve t-shirts can be added-on for an additional $15 charge. Deadline for shirt orders is Friday, May 5. Packet and pre-order shirt pick up will be Friday, May 26 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Fruitport Township Hall. Please watch your registered email for further announcements and GOOD LUCK!
