The Green Professionals Association (GPA) presents its 12th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Wal4k and 1-Mile Fun Run. Please join us on Thanksgiving Morning!

We will cap this race at 650 runners, so please register early.

The Turkey Trot raises money for college scholarships for Green High School seniors. To date, GPA has donated $35,000 in college scholarships to Green High School seniors.

Event Details:

Event: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Where: 1737 Steese Road., Green, Ohio, 44685. This is at the Green Memorial Stadium. Exit Route 241 at Steese Rd. Please park at the stadium before 7:20am. The school parking lots will be closed for the day. All traffic after 7:20 will be directed to Town Park Center.

When: Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 7:30AM (1 mile) and 8:00AM (5K).

Costs:

• $30 “Preregistered” for 5K (Pre-Registration ends on Wednesday, NOVEMBER 27th @ 10:00 AM);
• $35 “Race Day” for 5K (“Race Day Registration” starts on Wednesday, November 28nd @ 10:01 AM);
• $15 for “Preregistered” for 1-Mile Fun Run (Pre-Registration ends on Wednesday, NOVEMBER 27th @ 10:00 AM); and
• $20 for “Race Day” 1-Mile Fun Run (“Race Day Registration” starts on Wednesday, November 28th @ 10:01 AM).

All PRE-REGISTERED participants will receive a free long-sleeve performance shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed for “Race Day” registrations.

Packet Pick-Up:

• Night before registration & packet pickup is from at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on November 27th. Packet pick-up will be at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Health & Wellness Center, Lifestyles in Green, 1946 Town Park Blvd, Uniontown, from 5 pm until 7 pm. 
• Each person who picks up their packet at Lifestyles will received a free 2 day pass so they can work out before the end of 2024.  They will also be able to work out the day the pick up their packets as well.
• Race Day packet pickup is from 6:30 am – 7:30 am on November 28th. This is located at the stadium in the concession stand area :

1737 Steese Rd.

The stadium will not open until 6:30 am on November 28th.

Awards : 5K: Prizes for top 3 Male & Female in each class and top 3 Male & Female Overall. Age brackets are-14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. 1 Mile: Top 4 finishers.

**There will be a drawing for other prizes at the end of the race. Bring CANNED GOODS for tickets!! All canned food will be donated to Green Good Neighbors.
