    Who does Walk for Life & 5K support?

    When you Walk for Life, your steps WILL save lives! The money raised at the Walk for Life & 5K will impact hundreds of women, men, and children in our community. These are just some of the FREE services offered at our center:

    Free STD Testing and Free Treatment
    Pregnancy Information: Pregnancy Tests, Limited Ultrasound, Pregnancy Options info, Abortion Recovery Support
    Help for Guys: Healthy Relationship Mentoring, Men's Mentoring, Education Classes, Post-Abortion Counseling
    Referrals for: Adoption, Housing, Medical care, and Other community services
    Education & Support: Relationship Education, Parenting Education, and Support, Nutrition Education, Budgeting Assistance, Mom's Support Group
    Practical Support: Diapers, Infant, child, and maternity clothing, Food and formula, Baby equipment, and supplies

    Day of Packet Pickup and Registration:
    Saturday, October 5th, 8:30 am-9:30 am
    You can register for all event types and pick up your packet if you are already signed up.

    Friday Packet Pickup and Registration:
    If you want to skip the lines on Saturday, get your packet on Friday, Oct 4, 1:00 pm-6:00 pm

                                                   Registration Fees:           

     Cost for 5K Runner/Walker Registration: 

     o Register by Aug 31: Adults: $30/runner; Children (12 years old and under): $20
     o Register Sept 1-Oct 3: Adults: $37/runner; Children (12 years old and under): $27
     o Register on Oct 5 Online or at Packet pickup Adults: $45/participant; Children (12 years old and under): $35
     o Registration on the day of the Race:  Adults: $45/participant; Children (12 years old and under): $35
     o Dri-Fit T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrants if signed up by Sept 13. Youth sizes are available. 

    Cost for Walker (1 mile) Registration: 

     o Register by Aug 31: $15.00 (all ages)
     o Register Sept 1-Oct 3: $20.00 (all ages)
     o Register on Oct 4 Online or at Packet pickup for $25 (all ages)
     o Registration on the day of the Walk: $25 (all ages)
     o Dri-Fit T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrants if signed up by Sept 13. Youth sizes are available.

    Fun Run Registration:

    There will also be a 1/2-mile Fun Run for children 10 and under. The registration cost is $10 (Does NOT include a T-Shirt).
    You may register your child online or on the day of the event.

    Parking:

    Not all parking will be free this year. The Borough now has various pay-to-park spots. Please be mindful that almost all street parking will be subject to a fee through a mobile pay app. This is a fee outside of our control. Some locations that still offer free parking are limited. Please factor in locating free parking when arriving as 400+ people will be all looking for parking simultaneously. 

    • Quakertown Community Pool  Distance: 0.2- roughly a 4-minute walk
    • Quakertown Veteran's Memorial Parking Lot Distance 0.2 roughly a 4-minute walk
    • Quaker Village Shopping Center Distance: 0.3- roughly a 6-minute walk
    • Quakertown Little League- Cemetary Rd Parking  Distance 0.6 roughly a 12-minute walk

    PLEASE NOTE THE LIBRARY IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS ON SATURDAY AND IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PARK. PARKING HERE CAN RESULT IN  HAVING YOUR VEHICLE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.
