The Murphey Candler Park Conservancy (MCPC) is excited to announce the Annual Duck Duck Goose 5K taking place October 21, 2023.  This fundraiser supports the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy and our efforts to make Murphey Candler Park one of the premier parks in Metro Atlanta.

REGISTRATION

Register Online at runsignup.com until 10/19/23 (Thursday before race) 

Go to www.runsignup.com and search “Brookhaven Duck Duck Goose”  

•  Early bird registration = $25-5K and $15-1 mile until 11:59PM on 9/24/23.  

•  Registration = $30-5K/$20-1mile until 11:59PM on 10/13/23 then becomes $35-5K/$25-1mile.

•  Online registration closes at 8:00 AM on 10/19/23.

*  Race Day Registration will be available for $40 dollars from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. (No t-shirt is guaranteed) In order to receive a DDG T-Shirt, you must register online no later than 11:59 pm on 10/16/23.

Those not interested in running can register as phantom runners to support the conservancy and receive an event T-shirt.

SHIRTS

Long sleeve shirts are guaranteed for online registrants registering by 10/16/2023.

PACKET PICK-UP

•  Packet Pick-up will be in Murphey Candler Park at the Duck Duck Social (located off Candler Lake East and Horseshoe Road - close to Tennis Courts) on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Walk-up Registration and Packets may be picked up the day of the race starting at 7:00 a.m.  (Note:  No T-shirts guaranteed for day of race registration).

PROCEEDS

This fundraiser supports the Murphey Candler Park Conservancy and our efforts to make Murphey Candler Park one of the premier parks in Metro Atlanta.

RACE START

There will be water stations along the course. The course winds through the park's beautiful trails and neighborhood.

1-Mile Fun Run is great for smaller kids and families.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Parking will be available at the Atlanta Colts Football and Murphey Candler Little League lots, and gravel lots off Candler Lake East.

STARTING LOCATION

The race will start and finish in the Murphey Candler Park Open Field Space (aka County Corner) located at corner of Candler Lake East and West Nancy Creek Drive.

Leashed dogs and strollers are welcomed on the course.
