This 3rd annual fun filled, exciting trail race offers challenges to both experienced trail runners and weekend warriors. The course is a chip timed 5K with an untimed 1 mile option. Run, walk or crawl through beautiful forests and over the twisted terrain, a portion of the trail spills onto the enchanting Voluntown Peace Trust and there is even a rocky stream crossing to test your fortitude! You will find other crazy challenges along the way - monkey bars, a tire obstacle, ball toss, crawl through, cargo net and more! The three Color Blaze stations will surprise and delight you and your race kit comes complete with a really awesome tee shirt, a wristband, a packet of color to use as you please, tattoos, a sticker and cool sunglasses! In order to receive a complete race kit you must register by midnight on Friday, July 7. Otherwise, plain white tee shirts in various sizes will be available for purchase on race day!

This race is open to individuals of any age or teams of 3 or more, highlights of this race include; beautiful scenery, twisted terrain, great swag, enthusiastic volunteers, and cool raffles. CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

Entry is via on-line registration only, even on race day. If you register on race day, please allow time to park, shuttle and check-in to collect your race number. 

Event Schedule

The start shall be staggered to ensure appropriate social distancing is maintained. During registration you will be able to select your preferred start time.

• 8:00 am - Check in opens - please check in at least 15 mins before the selected wave start time.
  • Free Parking and a Shuttle to and from Tamarack Lodge will be available at: Voluntown Town Hall, 115 Main Street, Voluntown, CT 06384
    
• 8:30 am first start wave
• Start waves, every 15 minutes
• 1:45 pm last start wave

Bag check and changing tents will be available to all participants near the check-in area. A really cool raffle will be held to help raise additional funds for our chosen charities!

Entry Fees

• Individual - $40 before July 16, thereafter $45
• Kids (12yrs and under) - $15
• Team / Group entry (5 people) - $35 each (only available before July 16)

Post Event Celebrations

Breakfast and lunch items will be offered, including vegan and gluten free options, beverages offerings will include soda, beer, wine and cocktails. A Kids Menu will also be available. Grab and go or enjoy safe and socially distanced outdoor dining. Sorry, but no coolers, outside food or beverages will be permitted. Tours of the amenities on the Tamarack Lodge property will be conducted upon request beginning at 9:00 am.
