    Washington Park Pavilion | Springfield, IL

     

    Join us for this family-friendly event while supporting a good cause.

    Hosted by SIU School of Medicine, Office of Development and Alumni Relations, in partnership with the American Medical Association Student Representatives.
    Proceeds will be donated to the Simmons Cancer Institute to fund breast cancer research.

     

    Schedule

    Friday, October 27 – Race Packet Pick-up

    • 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the Springfield Running Center

    Saturday, October 28 – Race Day (no on-site registration)

    • 8:00 - 8:45 AM: Limited Race Packet Pick-up
    • 8:45 AM: Runners Line Up
    • 9:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk (13+) (Timed Event)
    • 10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony for Timed Race
    • 10:30 AM: Kids Fun Run (12 and under)
      • Kids Awards Ceremony & Costume Contest to immediately follow
    • 12:00 PM: Event Concludes

    • Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place 5K Female wins a custom medal
      • Overall 1st place also wins a Bella Milano gift card
    • Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place 5K Male wins a custom medal
      • Overall 1st place also wins a Bella Milano gift card
    • Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Kid's Fun Run wins a custom medal
