Join the YMCA Run Cause Squad and Run/Walk/Donate for a CAUSE!
Strollers are Welcomed.  For Safety Reasons, No Pets Allowed.
Service Dogs Welcomed.

For Late Registration as of Nov. 20, we cannot guarantee you will receive a shirt in your packet. We are happy to order your shirt after the race.

For registrations received after Nov. 14th, we cannot guarantee you will receive your preferred shirt size. Limited sizes and quantities available. 


A local Thanksgiving morning tradition, YMCA Run Thru the Woods  has supported local non-profits with the goal of strengthening The Woodlands, Spring and Oak Ridge communities for 34 years. The event brings thousands of community members together for entertainment and run/walks designed for all ages. Over the years, more than $3 million dollars has been raised. Thank you for your support. 

Whether you’re a veteran runner or participating in your first race, we have an event for you, including a 3-mile run, 5-mile run,  3-mile walk, and 1-Mile Kids Race

RACES
Multiple race options are available so everyone in your family can participate. Awards will be awarded to top finishers in 1 mile, 3 mile, and 5 mile,  Everyone who registers will receive a finisher medal.

Overall Winners are determined by Gun Time.
Age Group Winners are determined by Chip Time.

If your child is under the age of 3 and will be in a stroller, you do not need to register them as a participant, unless you want them to receive a shirt and medal. 

1 Mile Children’s Race Presented by Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands. Start Time is 7:30am
• Ages 3 - 12 years
• Participant medal
• Shirt
• Awards for the overall top four finishers
• Awards for the top four finishers of each age group
Age Groups:
3-5;  6-8; 9-10; 11-12

3 Mile Run. Start time is 8:25am
• Participant medal
• Shirt
• Awards for overall top three finishers, male and female
• Awards for the top three finishers of each age group, male and female
• Master’s division for ages 40 and older. Awards for the top 3 finishers, male and female
(No duplication of awards)


3 Mile Walk Presented by Alight Solutions. Start Time is 8:30am. Please Note: Walkers are Not Timed and will not receive a finish line result.

PACKET PICKUP will be available at The Woodlands Family YMCA at Shadowbend starting on November 17th, depending on when you registered. Packet Pick Up Ends at Noon on November 22nd. Packet Pick Up will be available on race day morning starting at 5:30am. 

Packet Pick Up for those that register by Nov. 13: Your packets will be available to pick up Nov. 17 - 22. 
Packet Pick Up for those that registered Nov 14 - Nov 19: Your packets will be available to pick up Nov. 21 - 22. 
Packet Pick Up for those that register Nov. 20 - 22: Your packets will be available to pick up on race day morning starting at 5:30am.

OUR CAUSE
Annually, YMCA Run Thru the Woods brings together more than 5,000 people, who Run/Walk for a CAUSE and raise more than $160,000 for the benefiting charities. Every dollar raised is an investment in our community. Net proceeds benefit local non-profits and their missions:
The Woodlands Family YMCA Annual Campaign – The YMCA Annual Campaign helps everyone, regardless of age, income or background, have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at the Y. Programs include life-saving swim lessons, after school care, support services/outreach programs, summer day camp and youth sports.
